ARTHROSCOPIC SURGERY
MO-IBJI physicians are using state of the art arthroscopic procedures to assist with the diagnosis and surgical treatment for many joint related orthopaedic problems. Arthroscopic surgery utilizes an instrument called an arthroscope that allows your physician to look directly into the joint that is causing you pain. Arthroscopy was initially used for knee problems. Today, other joints are being arthroscoped by orthopaedic surgeons including the shoulder, ankle, elbow, wrist and hip.
